I honestly just have to accept that I love very sparkly things, and that includes flakies etc. I mean, we gotta follow the dopamine 😅 And this one is so pretty! The black jelly really makes the sparkles pop and I could look at it for hours.
Also completely sold on the name... it always has been one of my favorite lines from Leonard Cohen, and it makes me love this polish 100x more 🫶

As a short nail haver, I wondered if flakies were just not for me since I don’t like corralling them onto short nails or the inevitable bumps they create.
Idk what kind of magic this is, but 3 coats plus 2 coats of topcoat and this is perfect. The product pics capture the purple in the flakies, but in person the pink to purple to blue shift becomes more obvious. Huge fan of this one.
formula is actually pretty easy to work with - even though there's flakies, it isn't on the thicker side. 3 coats!
I don’t normally like too much glitter, but I decided to get this on a whim. I love it! The pinky purple flakes and delicate sparkle against the not quite black are the right kind of drama for my vestigial inner goth. I used two coats though it looked good at one.
I loved this polish from the very first swatch; it applied smoothly and looked true to the photos online. It's deep and moody with a little pizzazz. Very pleased! (I can't speak to the total longevity of the polish because I change my manicure every week, but it lasted the entire week with no chips.)
Beautiful finish, a bit sheer but the end result after three coats is worth it! So sparkly and with a great pop of color from the flakies.
Beautiful black jelly with sparkles. Unique in my collection and easy application. I had to use a thicker layer so the flakes wouldn’t catch and drag the color around. Two layers of top coat to smooth the surface
I love that the glitter mix is so pink and purple heavy, it really sets this black jelly flakie bomb apart from other common favorites like trick or trash from ht. in three coats, she is perfection!!
I absolutely adore this shade and the inspiration! Pictures don't do it justice for how fun and how the light catches the flakies. Application was super easy. Picture is of 3 coats but I easily could've gotten away with only 2.
the picture shows this polish over a purple base. it looks like stars and beams of light! i love it!!!
This is such a fancy and sparkly alternative when I'm in the mood for something dark. I think it will also look great in a Halloween skittle—I'm so excited to try it! Really pretty and love the purple flakes especially.
If you like reflective glitter you’ll love this one! A soft moody grey with just the right amount of reflective glitter to catch the light. I thought it looked best in 2 coats.

You should pick this up if you like glitters - it is like a punk glitter? I feel super cool when I wear it lol - great formula!
You can get a different look depending on how many coats, since the base is a black jelly.

I’m not usually a fan of jelly polishes but this one is pretty on my nails! I love the purple glitters and how sparkly this looks on my nails, like looking into a little galaxy in a way.
