The formula is thin and easy to apply, but I think it is quite patchy to use alone. I applied two coats to use it as a basecoat, but I feel I can just apply two coats of ridge filler instead to have the similar color correct effect. But my nails are not seriously tinted.
I wore it as a standalone for a couple days, it’s very glossy and looks good by itself! It does a great job of neutralizing stains and brightening the nail. Pictures are of 1 coat neutralizer over 1 coat of cracked ridge filler. It’s very sheer so I tend to reach for my color corrector that has better coverage but this one is nice too
Not sure if I got a bad batch but the neutralizer is really patchy for me even after three coats. The non-patchy parts cover up staining but because it's so patchy it doesn't make sense to use it with sheer polishes. :( Pictured are three coats.
I have very stained nails and got this hoping that it would allow me to wear sheer polishes. The formula is thin, but you only need a thin coat. You don't have to apply over the entire nail, either! I put it over only the most stained portion in my first coat to see how it would look and it does great! Put a second coat over it to smooth everything out, but the most stained part got the majority of the effect which was exactly what I wanted. It's not completely even, but it's not meant to be a polish. Once you polish over it, the unevenness vanishes. Float thin coats for best results. Honestly, this stuff is just so amazing.
I love this neutralizer base coat. It covers the yellow of my nails from frequent polish in two coats and gives me a great base for polish. It’s a little streaky after one coat, but the second evens it out completely for me.
This is a terrific product; two coats provides not only a lovely, semi-opaque base for transparent/light-colored polishes, BUT ALSO - 2c provide great protection against green-base-polish staining. I'm a fan.
This takes away my VNL without significantly changing the color of the polish on top. It’s magic.
This stuff is SO good! My nails are really stained recently and I was able to almost completely hide that in one thin coat. I find it works best if I shake it before I use it. Dries super quick!
If I could give 4.5 stars I would. I didn't love this as a base coat, it went on a bit streaky for me in a single coat, and I had to do quite a bit of cleanup so that it didn't create a pale outline around my polish (which, fair enough, is true for any tinted base). However, it did a great job with neutralizing and with blurring vnl. Shown under Lone Star Rose, which is on the sheer side. You can see a bit of outline left on my index fingers. I think it will be great used over another base coat.
Goes on super streaky, but it does the job of helping combat the slight yellow staining I have on my nails from frequent polish use.
This was a bit streaky and thick and I have been using the ridge filler to help with any staining anyways and I think that works really well already but I'm going to try this one again after thinning! The color is really nice

I have yellowing from all my lovely polishes, and wanted something to help blur underneath my sheerer colors without changing the color of the polish I want to showcase. This is so nice! Totally fits the bill! I haven't tried it on its own yet, but I imagine it would look really classy.

A bit streaky
Love the neutralizer, it truly covers up the discoloration from the red polish that I leave on too long. Goes on smooth, dries fast
Great formula, very thin but offers great coverage without taking forever to dry!
I really really love this. Hides VNL and any staining and is totally undetectable. Makes my sheerer jelly based polishes really pop and saves me from a third coat!
Also it's seemingly is keeping my nails stronger as well because ever since I started using it in early June I've been able to grow my nails longer for the first time in years. Adore this product ❤️
I’ve been using this base coat mostly for over a month and it’s become one of my favorites. I enjoy the longevity it gives my manicures and it really helps cream, jellies, and shimmers pop!!
This base coat changed the game when it came to some of my sheer polishes! It combats my staining and allows the polish to appear more true to color! It also helps blur my nail line and makes it so I don’t have to add another coat of polish!
Lovely base coat and great for combating stains.
I have avoided shimmers and jellies because I can’t stand VNL so let me tell you how much I LOVE this product!! If you’re thinking about it, give it a try and you’ll be surprised to see how effective it is with only one coat!
Even if I'm generally able to avoid too much staining, wearing nail polish 100% of the time definitely stains a bit. I like the neutralizer in 1 coat before using sheer polishes. Heavily stained nails might prefer 2 coats.

Even after three coats, this was streaky/patchy. Tried multiple times before throwing it out.
Dries a little slower than I'd prefer, but otherwise good
