Being a nail polish addict comes with its own set of battle scars, like yellow-stained nails that just won’t quit. We get it. You love bold color, but your nails are starting to look like they've been chain-smoking. Neutralizer has entered the building. This light purple base coat is here to cancel out that leftover yellow tinge and give your nails a cooler, cleaner vibe.
Neutralizer is meant to be worn underneath polish as a base coat that minimizes nail staining showing through your mani. A single coat may show brush strokes. Use multiple coats if you are wearing it solo, or a single coat if using it as a base.
Pro Tip - Apply by floating a loaded brush filled with Neutralizer onto the nail.
A part of our Necessities nail treatments.
Neutralizer is Light purple base that helps with offsetting yellow stained nails.
Opaque in 1-3 coats depending on nail length.

Not sure if I got a bad batch but the neutralizer is really patchy for me even after three coats. The non-patchy parts cover up staining but because it's so patchy it doesn't make sense to use it with sheer polishes. :( Pictured are three coats.
I have very stained nails and got this hoping that it would allow me to wear sheer polishes. The formula is thin, but you only need a thin coat. You don't have to apply over the entire nail, either! I put it over only the most stained portion in my first coat to see how it would look and it does great! Put a second coat over it to smooth everything out, but the most stained part got the majority of the effect which was exactly what I wanted. It's not completely even, but it's not meant to be a polish. Once you polish over it, the unevenness vanishes. Float thin coats for best results. Honestly, this stuff is just so amazing.
I love this neutralizer base coat. It covers the yellow of my nails from frequent polish in two coats and gives me a great base for polish. It’s a little streaky after one coat, but the second evens it out completely for me.
This is a terrific product; two coats provides not only a lovely, semi-opaque base for transparent/light-colored polishes, BUT ALSO - 2c provide great protection against green-base-polish staining. I'm a fan.
This takes away my VNL without significantly changing the color of the polish on top. It’s magic.
This stuff is SO good! My nails are really stained recently and I was able to almost completely hide that in one thin coat. I find it works best if I shake it before I use it. Dries super quick!
If I could give 4.5 stars I would. I didn't love this as a base coat, it went on a bit streaky for me in a single coat, and I had to do quite a bit of cleanup so that it didn't create a pale outline around my polish (which, fair enough, is true for any tinted base). However, it did a great job with neutralizing and with blurring vnl. Shown under Lone Star Rose, which is on the sheer side. You can see a bit of outline left on my index fingers. I think it will be great used over another base coat.
...which I hate. This is a lovely base coat
This is the best base coat. My nails are yellow this stuff helps so much.
I love using this as a blurring base coat
I'm a tinkerer who constantly uses my nails as tools. My latest all-Cracked mani has stayed on for twice as long as our other indie polishes and counting. This stuff has survived 4 days + a fall stopped by my hands and only 2 of my nails have chipped. Not sure if it's just the base coat or the combined effect from the QDTC, but the longevity stands out for sure.
Absolutely love how it neutralizes the nail stains, especially when applying crelly or jelly polishes.
Not my favorite base, Goes on a little streaky
Great base coat for those of us obsessed with yellows.
Amazing formula. Does exactly as advertised. Made the yellow go away!
great base for hiding nail line. its also a pretty solid milky color and is buildable. great formula and amazin price!
Found best results when used with ridge filler for Jellies. Great based to set a more opaque base for jellies.
Great!!
It’s soooooo good! Color corrects wonderfully leaving nails brighter and whiter
I gave this bottle to a friend. Hopefully she has better luck with it. Even after thinner was added it remained streaky and would not even out.
It works almost too well! I had major staining but since I used this under all my mani's... my nails grew back in without staining, so now it gives a purple tint since there isn't any yellow to neutralize, lol. So it definitely works!!
I stained my nails with an unnamed gold polish 🫣. This covers it and allows me to get a true color out of my polishes instead of having them all pull yellow thanks to the staining. It's also lovely on its own! Thank you for this!
great neutral base. its very pretty on its own and does a good job with hiding stains
great cover of my stained nails. perfect base, kind of works like the ridge filler in a different shade. Also can be work alone.
Great base coat when your nails are stained.
This helps with my stained nails - nice formula and works as advertised
I get a lot of staining, this does noticeably reduce the visibility of stains when I wear sheer polishes!
Nice base coat. I haven’t used it as a color corrector yet but it works as a good base coat even if you don’t have staining.
This is a good product if used in 2 coats as a blurring base coat, or in 1 coat as a base coat for polished with good opacity. It neutralizes the sainted nails but it can look streaky if used to neutralize for negative space nail art
2 coats and my staining is completely neutralized!! It also is perfect for a clean nail look!
