Lahar is a molten moment frozen in polish form. Inspired by the raw power and beauty of Pacific Northwest volcanoes, this shade captures the aftermath of eruption of an ash gray base kissed with a whisper of violet haze, stirred to life with magnetic pigments that shift from copper to gold like sunlight breaking through a smoky sky. It’s nature’s drama bottled up ready to erupt on your nails.

Love the depth and shimmer of this, easy to magnetize although not the strongest. I appreciate how diffused the shimmer is when velvetized.
Very great formula; no bubbly issues. The base color is like mud, and the magnetic shimmer is pretty dark red, shifting to orange. I recommend a velvet effect.
No words are good enough to describe Lahar. This is easily one of the mose beautiful polishes I've ever seen, and I can already tell this will not be my only bottle. Absolute masterpiece, and I say that with my whole chest.
I saw someone say that you don’t need Lahar if you have Scorchy, but I’m gonna have to respectfully disagree. YOU NEED BOTH! The photos do not do it justice. I know it’s probably more of a Fall/Winter shade, but here I am slapping it on the first week of June because I just couldn’t wait. As soon as I swatched it, I knew I needed to do a full mani with it. It’s so hip and edgy and cool!!
This is such a cool magnetic and the shift in the pigment looks amazing in different lighting. Excited to try some new magnetic styles with it
A lavender/greyish base that shimmers so beautifully magnetized or not. The application is very smooth and it's a unique color that goes well with anything.
In a good way. Let me just say I have yet to find a red I like, I thought this would make a more interesting alternative and MAN does it deliver interesting alternative. I am not left wanting, so so pleased.
Two coats was perfect coverage, and I like wearing this in the velvet style the most.
I missed out on Scorchy during their last sale but I feel Lahar is a great alterntive (or in addition). I normally don't love greys but the red magnetic shift makes it a really unique color/vibe.
super vibrant orange magnetic pigment that shifts yellow and pink at extreme angles! the grey in the base is quite prominent, I do wish the purple shimmer was less subtle but it's still super pretty
Cracked is so good at making unique colours with great formulas, this is no exception. The base is like concrete grey but the magnetic shimmer—orangey magenta—really brings the polish to life and lifts the grey of the base.
Beautiful, volcanic-colored polish. The shift in the magnetic pigment is gorgeous, and my chickens keep trying to grab it off my fingers!
Did this one in the velvet effect on my nails. I was completely blown away by the shifts in this one! Goes from a red, to orange, to gold. At the right angle you can see all of the shifts at the same time. What's stands out the most for me is the violet gray base against all the shifts, it is just such a beautiful combo of colors
This polish has a lovely purple-gray base, with a red-orange magnetic shimmer. Sometimes it pops in a very vibrant way, but other times it’s softer. I think this color combination is really lovely, and just feels like a warm hug to me!
Lahar is so mesmerizing! A little tricky for me to get right bc magnets are hard, but she’s worth the effort
Best seller for a reason. This polish is so beautiful. I wish I could see the red in the shimmer more often because in most of my lighting, it's more orange-leaning, but that doesn't stop me from loving this polish. The execution of the concept is perfect! The polish itself is a little sheer in two coats so I went with three, but that's fine with me.
The shiftiness of Lahar is incredible, it’s truly even more beautiful in person. I love how it goes from gold to coppery pink, it’s just stunning against the grey jelly base. Magnetized easily with the wand and horseshoe magnet. Reached the opacity I wanted with two coats.
This was my first magnetic polish and it’s so pretty! Can’t wait to try it velvet style :)
Great formula and magnetic reactivity. Nicely pigmented. A warm toned, smokey grey base with a beautiful red shimmer. One of the most unique polishes in my collection. Pretty velvet, although cateye is where I feel it shines most.
I struggle with using magnetics but when done right the colors in this polish really pop! I love getting the flash of red and when I used a fridge magnet I got bright orange stripes
