It was super easy to use and achieved the velvet effect on my magnetic manicure.
Works great but as someone with what I didn't think was that wide of thumbs my thumb just fits.

The magnet makes velvet style manis super easy to do! Also compact so great to carry around.
Its cute, stores easily, magnetizes well, and I can fit my thumb in it just fine. I personally prefer the smaller size for easy storage.
It gets te job done but is a bit narrow. Don’t mind the stains from my nail polish remover.
This lil' magnet punches way above its weight. I had been waiting to get a 30lb magnet but this popped up during the anniversary sale so I scooped it up. When it came in I tested it on a magnetic polish I'd been curious about from another brand, and my eyes popped out of my head with how well this pulled a velvet effect. I will be getting more so I can work on multiple fingers. PS. I appreciate the extra touch of having the magnet enclosed in the plastic, so no risk of anything flying out/losing magnets! 1000/10 will be buying again soon!
This worked so well! And most importantly, the velvet effect lasted, way better than the results I got with a regular magnet. I am extremely satisfied. This one is prettier than the ones at Home Depot and cheaper, so you can’t go wrong here!

I really needed one of these. It works perfectly and is a great size for all fingers, including my thumb.
It is a little narrower than other horseshoe magnets I have used, but other than that it works great for a velvet look
So it does the velvet effect well, but other ways people have found to utilize their horseshoe magnet consistently doesn't work for me. For example, a really cool vertical velvet effect someone discovered, which involves the magnetic wand attaching to the horseshoe in a particular way, doesn't work no matter what I do because Cracked's horseshoe is magnetized differently I guess. I also wasn't able to use it for demagnetizing my magnetic polishes, as others could with the ones they got from elsewhere. Finally, I am wishing it had a hole in the center so you could more easily attach a handle for it to spin, for magnetic effects like the glass bead.
That said, if all you want is a velvet effect, then this works great! It's just that it has proven less versatile to me compared to other horseshoes because of how its magnetic poles work, so that's a bit of a bummer.
Lovely magnet and affect
Love this fierce little magnet! The velvet effect is perfect every time. I picked up a second one and do have to watch that they’re not too close to each other because they’re strong and love each other very much.

This works great for me, but I do have relatively small fingers. The only way it could be better would be if it came in purple!

Just as good an effect as a heavy horseshoe magnet but way cheaper, less likely to fling random tools across your workspace and way easier to manage.
Is this super special? Potentially not. But I was using a wand magnet before I got this guy and this was a SERIOUS upgrade. I also like easy it is to stay flat and in place
Love this horseshoe magnet; always gives a great velvet finish. I appreciate that it’s a very portable size so I can store or transport it in my polish case. I also appreciate the bright green because I’m prone to losing things.

The weight and size of this magnet are deceiving; it is so lightweight and durable, but it helps pull out the most beautiful magnetic effect with little effort.
