What color is this nail polish? Yes! Purple, blue, green, red, teal....It's dark but easy to tell it's not black. I magnetized this with the glass bead method (60s - magnetized the second coat and top coat). I used 2 coats of Heir Apparent but could have done one coat if I did thicker coats. The formula was easy to work with (best application experience with a Cracked polish so far). With some magnetics, after wrapping my tips, I can see the disturbance in the pattern of the magnetic particles that the brush causes at the tips even after magnetizing, but not so with this one. It looks great.
Such a shifty color. Green, teal, purple, pink, orange, gold… all make an appearance. One of my new favs.
This was just ok. I have other similar colored magnetics that work sooo much better than this one. Dispersed easily and wasn’t ever crisp for me. Not a fan.
Heir shown on ring finger in dupe skittle
Very beautiful, whether you wear it unmagnetized, cat eye, velvetized or glass beaded, it's super shifty and interesting. Application was smooth and easy and you get full coverage in 2 coats.
this polish is like, all magnetic pigments, in all the hues. what even is the base? I don’t know: I can’t see it, because so many different colors are catching the light.. there’s no angle where this polish is just lying in wait, looking subdued. Copper red/purple/green/teal/sky blue! are you kidding me? looks like magic. ALSO: if you’re careful and go thick, you can get away with a single coat!
I was surprised at first at how subtle this polish is with a velvet treatment (or maybe I’m just in a super flashy polish rut 😂). It turns out a pretty shifty purple/turquoise in velvet, but the red really comes through with strongly magnetized looks like fridge magnet decals. I did fridge magnet decals with it for the holidays and it’s perfectly festive without screaming “Hi I’m a poinsettia!” I just need know which polishes are going to wind up an “I can’t stop staring at my nails” mani, but the strongly magnetized looks with this one are definitely in that category.
The formula is lovely and goes on smoothly. The magnetic effect is so pretty, some angles teal, others purple. The photo is two coats and top coat, nails magnetized lengthwise with a magnet from PPU.
Absolutely friggin’ gorgeous. One of my all time favorite magnetics. These colors. The ease with which this applies. It’s just beautiful. Tempted to buy another just to have backup!
A beautiful multichrome magnetic! Lovely contrast. I will have to try this shade again in a cat eye style.
A real chameleon! You can get very creative with this pretty, fun polish.
Simply gorgeous. Color, application, shine- all perfect
A sleeper hit. A warm, reddish brown base with delicate shimmer makes an unassuming backdrop for the teal/purple/blue to flash through. The magnetic doesn’t blind you due to the base, but in the sun, the flashes of green and blue are so fun. I prefer this magnetized in velvet, and really makes a fun, shifty look. Glass bead is also nice.
I love this polish. The deep warm reddish brown with the bright magnetic flashes is wonderful. I love looking over and seeing a different color than the one I saw a moment before.
Gorgeous and sparkly blue red shifts
Gorgeous shade, magnetizes well. I am saving this one for cooler weather, a great fall or winter color.
What color are my nails? I’ll never be able to tell! This color is SO shifty when magnetized, I really loved it magnetized in the glass bead style.
Such a beautifully shifty magnetic! A fun sibling to Jewel Of The Ball.
Very pretty and great formula. As a personal preference, I wish it had a little more contrast.
But it looks quite pretty in velvet style
I love the colors in this one. It’s a very fun magnetic and easy to use. You won’t be disappointed!
I saw one of the Youtubers I follow post several shorts using this polish and I was intrigued - It's not really what I expected in person though. The magentic effect is really subtle, and the polish is DARK. It's not bad, but it's not one of my favorite polishes from the brand.
I love everything about it, but I feel like maybe it just takes so long to dry that I can't get it to hold a design? I don't have this problem with other Cracked magnetics, but I've tried this velvet, cateye, bead, and I like all of them right when I finish and never an hour later. I've tried different top coats and different times. They all end up gloopy and messy.
It’s beautiful but the magnetic is just not very strong, or reactive I should say.
unique magnetic. Will be a great fall color!
Great manetic - easy to use!
