Such a unique summery, in your face green!

It's as GREEN as you can get without being a neon. I love this one, it is rather crelly-like and dries down satin, making it look like green plastic. It is the most unnatural green, in the best possible way. Nothing kale about it, lol.

Just an amazing color

I ordered 29 polishes with zero buyers remorse. Yesterday felt like Christmas, and I knew exactly which would be my first. F* Kale does not disappoint, it’s gorgeous. Formula is great, goes on easy and dries fast. I see myself needing a new bottle by the end of the year

I like kale; i also love this polish

Yay, I didn't dupe myself! (Was concerned re: ASP from Sally Beauty's "Don't Mind If I Do" lacquer, which is a straight-up "kid's lesson on colors" green.)

I mean, I sort of did, but F*ck Kale is more flattering on me, because it's slightly paler and ever-so-slightly less saturated, in a nice way.

At first I'd thought it was a crelly. I dunno, maybe it is? There's definitely a softness of texture when you get it to full opacity, though it also just seems sort of like a ... cozy creme?

At first I was disappointed that I needed 4 layers on my swatch stick to reach full opacity (haven't tried it on fingers yet; they often need fewer), but it self-levels well, so I've since learned to wait a moment for dark spots to settle before judging. Also, it dries so darned fast that it doesn't take long to put on 4 layers, and 4 layers looks nice and lush anyway, so I really don't mind, after all -- I'd say in the end, it takes me less time to get to full opacity and ready-to-use hands than my cheap green creme, so I've started replacing the old green creme with F*ck Kale whenever I need a pigmentation booster below a thin green shimmer like Serpents of Eden, Plankton, etc. because I can move on to the shimmer layers so darned fast. (Plus, I think the ASP green was really bad about staining my nails.)

That said, it's definitely not a jelly -- I tried putting 1 thin layer over a flakie topper to see I could dupe Lurid's An Unwhittleable Wishlist, and it just about completely obscured the flakies.

Have fun, and, to be honest, please DO eat kale, too!

Beautiful green polish

Fck Kale is gorgeous! It's a bright, true kelly green that looks just like the swatches online. Love the recommendation to wear it as a french mani.

Such a pretty crème!

This is opaque in two coats and perfect for nailart, due to its creaminess! I paired it with some holo taco frozen bananas and I love how this turned out :)

F*ck Kale is beautiful but different than expected

F*ck Kale is a beautiful shade of green. However, I was somewhat surprised by two things about it. First, the shade looks a fair bit darker on the nail than it does in a lot of the pics and even in the bottle. I know lighting makes a difference, and number of coats, etc. (I did three coats because it was patchy-looking with just two.) I'm not even complaining exactly, I still really like it. I just though it would be lighter. Second, it dries down almost matte. Somewhere between an eggshell and satin finish, if we're comparing to wall paint? The matte finish gives it a lot less of a juicy look than some other jelly/crelly formulas. Topcoat glosses it up and I never go without topcoat anyway, so no big deal, but worth knowing depending on how you plan to use it, since it's not mentioned in the description. Anyway: no regrets, no complaints, just informing the public about what I'm noticing!
