Drugstore Chocolate is a red brown with red magnetic pigments.
Opaque in 1-3 coats depending on nail length.
Ingredient Notice: This shade contains ultramarines and/or certain specialty effect pigments that may naturally produce a sulfur or "rotten egg" odor in the bottle or during application. This is a normal characteristic of these ingredients, does not affect the quality, performance, or safety of the polish, and the odor typically dissipates after the polish dries.
This polish is magnetic. Use Mean Green Velveteen to get a gorgeous velvet mani or a Magnetic Wand for a cat eye effect.

Drugstore Chocolate is the shade that made me fall in love with Cracked and led me into my 2026 journey of amazing indie nail polish. I love that it's a brown based red, it just adds a richness and depth to the color. The magnetizing worked pretty well for me, although I'm new to magnetic polish. I wasn't able to do a glass bead very well but that could be user error. All other forms of magnetizing were absolutely beautiful. Two coats made the polish opaque. In my pictures, I topped it with a black jelly to give it a vampy look to it. When the sunlight catches the red... Whew. It's magnificent.
I can't stop looking at my nails! I love the bright red shifty magnetic. The name is perfect too as drugstore valentines chocolates are my favorite!
I love the colour of the magnetic shimmer in this but the base colour didn't really jive with my skin tone so I gifted it to a friend. It magnetized well and the formula went on smooth but it does have a quite strong smell out of the bottle. No smell once dry.
because she is exactly as advertised but I have gifted her away because she was TOO much like a box of russell stover down to the sheen which I did not like at all, despite how gorgeous she is on me upon review so I may need to reconsider. unlike other red magnetics on the market, drugstore shines because she is the only juicy monochrome.
I was looking for the perfect red magnetic polish for a hot minute and I definitely found it! I couldn’t stop staring at my nails when I had this one on.
This is such a stunning color I don’t know where to begin. I am always in search of a striking red and when I say Cracked nailed this one, I will wear this out! All of my friends have said it’s my color and can’t wait to see it in person. I am really excited to get to Monique’s other formulas, but this one is a winner.
If you’re looking for a red magnetic this is your sign. This is stunning with a great formula. I saw it and I knew I had to have it. Love it in the velvet style the most, but cat eye is also beautiful.
It works well and is still very pretty. It was not what I expected and looking back at the swatches, there are two that look brighter than the rest. The color does look like most of the swatches. I expected a different red underneath the magnetic.
This is gorgeous
The magnetic effect in glass bead is perfection. This is my favorite magnetic red.
Yes! This is such a sexy red magnetic! I magnetized using a horseshoe magnet and paired it with Worthy of Love. I think it was very smart to release those shades together. It did have a weird smell when polishing but it wasn't overbearing and was gone when polished dried. I used 2 coats for coverage. I used a basecoat and did not experience any staining.
Cause it looks great but smells bad!! It's worth the pain but crack open a window or put on a fan when applying. The magnetic pigment is strong and causes a beautiful fiery red shine. I prefer this in velvet style for that red shine. The base color is similar but a tad more brown than Worthy of Love. They go well together!
This red magnetic is everything I've been looking for! I wore it for Valentine's Day but it's such a perfect shade, it will be loved year- round!
This beautiful brown-toned red polish has a great formula and magnetizes easily. It has so much depth and looks almost plump. Perfect for a moody Valentines manicure.
Looks like a red velvet ribbon - pictured here in two coats magnetized velvet style with a horseshoe :)
I loveee this color. It’s so perfect. The magnetic in it works amazingly. Velvet effect all the way! I know it’s for Valentine’s Day, but I can’t wait to wear it in October! Highly recommend this polish!
