The formula is impressively self leveling. I got this one on sale wanting it for nail art as the website photos look kind of patchy. I want expecting much but I found that it all evens out with 3 heavier handed coats. I couldn’t be more pleased!
I can see ways to make this an edgy, fun look or a classy, neutral look.
Not as pigmented as I had hoped, but very nice consistency for a jelly! Had to do 4 coats to reach a darker color. Carbon Copy on ring finger, 4 coats.
Versatile and buildable
I don't usually gravitate to black polish, but since this one was glassy and buildable, I decided to try it out! This was my first jelly from Cracked. The formula was a little tricky, kind of like putting a topcoat-- you can't overwork the polish!! It didn't self-level 100%. Even though I didn't have the best application, I am excited to use this polish for galaxy jelly sandwich manicures or accent nails!
Obsessed. I love how squishy and moody Carbon Copy is! Applied beautifully and works so well for a jelly sandwich with flakie toppers <3
Builds up in three coats. Excited to try laying with this one for fall.
I got this with the intension of layering with other jellies to give a moodier tone and it did not disappoint

I really, really wanted to like Carbon Copy. Unfortunately I found it to be quite sheer, which, on its own, is fine, but I did not get the color payoff I wanted in three coats. It did not build up for me into that nice jelly black that the bottle promised.
This is a great black jelly! I love doing jelly sandwiches with different toppers using this one!
Oooo I'm going to use this all the time. Had me sold at using it as a tint over nudes, but I also love it in 3 coats for a really fantastic jelly black. It evens out so nicely. Just perfect.
Exactly what I expected - works great
i find it a bit difficult to build up just the black pigment without too many layers, but this color is super fun for layering with other polishes, especially ones with glitters.
This is in my regular rotation for a jelly sandwich. I have another similar from another brand, but I grab this polish every time. Staple item for me.

I keep this and Vanille in my desk for easy access - basic for all nail collections and works great
This has really amped up my polish game. It can darken shades, it provides a nice base for my sheerer polishes. Wearing it on its own as a retired exclusively-black-polish wearer gives me a nice jolt of nostalgia while giving it an updated feel.

Good jelly consistency
This jelly is best used for layering over other polishes to deepen their color, which makes it a very useful tool for your polish palette. On its own it takes several coats to approach a black shade. It's a true neutral black color.
I keep painting this over random colors on swatch sticks to see how they'd look with a grey smoky layer on top, super cool way to get even more out of my collection! A bit hard to get totally even, but I've never seen another one like shade this elsewhere and im loving it

I have a big glitter/flakie in a black jelly polish that needs a bit more opacity in the base, so I used Carbon Copy as an undie instead of adding more bulk from a third coat of big flakies. This worked perfectly and went on beautifully. I will definitely be using this polish again.
Smoky, glossy, elegant, and fabulous. Great for giving a smoky tint on top of other colors too!
