I received this nail strengthener in PR with no obligation to review but I've been wearing it consistently for a bit over a month now and I'm very obsessed with it so I had to. It also shockingly helped lift some polish staining I got from a different brand I didn't realize this would help so I didn't take before or after pics but as someone who used gel on her nails this product has surpassed my expectations I can't recommend it enough, I literally always have it on if I don’t have my extensions on
I habitually use strengtheners and I especially like ones that have nourishing properties as well. I have very weak, peeling bendy nails and even though I keep them short I like to leave a little bit of an edge with the hope that the nail bed will continue to lengthen over time. It's working!
This one dries down to a thin satin finish with a hint of blue shimmer. It's lovely. Now if Cracked would just add thinner to the lineup I wouldn't need to shop anywhere else!
My favorite of the "essentials"! It's sheer white with a hint of blue shimmer. I actually really like this, because it hides my yellow staining well. It's a great base coat. And for me, I wore one coat of the blue base coat, one coat of this Strengthener, and then a super dark orange Polish from another brand that has historically stained my nails in the past.... And this time it came off without any stain!!!!!! Highly recommended!!!
I like it so far! I haven't been using it long enough to know if it is actually hydrating.
After only one use, I noticed that my nails feel stronger. If I let my nails grow out at all, they get a little bendy and I start having peeling issues. This seemed to alleviate both problems! Highly recommend!
I just started using this and I love that I can wear it on its own or add it as part of my manicure. I can’t speak to if it’s strengthening yet but I haven’t had a product from this brand fail me yet.
Does a strengthening base coat NEED to have a pretty blue shimmer? No. Does this have it anyway and look beautiful enough to wear alone? Yes!! I've only used this twice so far, but it has helped with polish stains and my nails feel a little better already.
Amazingly strong keep my nails safe for a week plus. Look amazing my itself for a quick natural look.
I used this as a base coat and it worked well. It has a tiny bit of color and shimmer that disappeared under the polish. Formula and application were smooth. I can't speak to the strengthening part until I've used it before. But so far, I like it.
I’ve been using this as a base coat for a couple weeks now and it’s really nice! I feel like my nails are stronger and harder and when I remove my polish my nails aren’t as dried out!
I’ve really enjoyed using this when in-between manicures. I apply once every other day to build strength and I love that it looks like a sheer iridescent shimmer. I’ve noticed my nails look and feel healthy. It’s too soon to notice strength for me.

This strengthener has a delicate blue shimmer, but it does not change the color of any polish you put on top. My nails are bendy, thin, and prone to peeling, so I was pleased to fine that with consistent use of the strengthener my nails are becoming stronger. I do use either ridge filler or neutralizer on top of Strengthener before I add polish.
The shimmer is a fun addition to set it apart in the bottle from my other base coats and so far it hasn't shown up under other polish when I wear it as a base (which is good, because I don't want it to lol). It's a thin polish, thinner than other base coats I use, so it flooded my cuticles the first time I used it. That's user error though, just need some practice!
This strengthener is so fantastic. I love it built up on its own or worn in one or two coats under a color. It dries quickly, applies so evenly, and has a lovely dainty blue sparkle as an added bit of pizzazz.

i've used this under 2 manicures so far with great results, i have naturally thin nails that bend easily, and it makes my skin crawl. i added this over the new base coat and definitely notice a difference in how little my nails are bending with vs without using this under polish. i would recommend!
I've been using this for two weeks now, and using two coats as a base coat for my manicures, and I have definitely noticed a different in my nails already. It helps my lengths feel more sturdy (my nails are very brittle,) and it has helped slow some of my peeling. I just did another big chop on my nails so I'm hoping that with continued use of this that my peeling will finally stop all together and my natural nails can grow long and healthy!
This is THE. BEST. thing since sliced bread. It's a great formula, adds just the right amount of blurring in addition to being a really good strengthener. Perfect base for sheer colors, as well as potentially staining ones. No joke, it needs a 6th star!
Cracked’s Necessities are some of my favorite nail care and essentials! This strengthener helped keep my polish on longer and made my nails feel nourished! I was able to retain my nail growth using this for the past week and a half!
