This takes neutral with a twist to a whole new level. The aurora powder in this brown base turns this polish into a beautiful autumn fire. The resulting glow on the nails is just amazing. You can expect the usual smooth formula here as well. What a nice surprise to find such a fiery neutral!

I wasn’t sure if I would like the way the little glitters integrated into the formula on this one but I got it as my first rewards polish and I really liked it! The glitter adds to the sparkle in the sun and the shimmer is really pretty in low light. Monique always manages to make polishes I wouldn’t think of as flattering look so nice on.
I used three coats on all my polish. Ring finger is Shanks & the rest are Brownie Pink from Cracked polish also. Love this brand.

This is a great neutral polish with a bit of extra oomph and pizzazz. I think it looks best in two coats, so you can see the glitters better.

I was super excited to receive this color and I do like it, buuuut it's a lot more sheer than I anticipated from the pictures & description and it's less of a brown base and more gray? I almost thought I might have received a faulty one, it was different enough. But then I saw that other reviewers had similar comments and I think it's just how Shanks is. That all being said, it IS pretty. Built up you get opacity, but I'm warming up to the sheerness now? So, not what I expected, but not bad. Excited to experiment with is as a topper too.
Kind of a taupe base with finely milled red shimmers and medium sized red glitters. It might look good with Lahar as a complimentary tone.

Pretty brownish-pink with a fun array of sparkles! Opaque in two coats.
This shade is gorgeous, I love the shimmer in its I just wish it was less sheer, and some more full coverage.

definitely don't have anything else like it in my collection. shanks is a little grungy, a little classically pretty, a great neutral but with an almost-prugly twist. crelly finish, builds up in 2-3 coats.

I snagged this one awhile back when it was a reward. I am SO glad I did. This polish is super underrated and absolutely stunning. The glowy shimmer and little glitters takes this one up a whole extra level. Do not sleep on this one!
Compliments on this one right out the door! And, my husband even picked it which is unusual bc he doesn't lean toward with too much sparkle and flakes of any kind. I'd say this one is a coarse shimmer very rosey color with a gold shift and a gray base. It is sheer and I could see my half moons in 2 coats so I did three on thumbs and left 2 on my other fingers where they show less. This color is like a neutral on steroids! I love it! So so pretty!

It took me awhile before I decided I wanted Shanks; I wasn't sure that I liked it, but I was intrigued by it for some reason. I went ahead and got it, and I love it! So glad I decided to give it a chance.
