This is the first Cracked product to ever disappoint me. All their lacquers so far have been wonderful! But their ridge filler leaves me with extremely noticeable ridges, more so than the thick regular base coat I general use. I do give it 2 stars instead of 1 as the light pink color seems versatile and inoffensive, but a product designed to do one thing should reliably do that one thing. I'm glad this works for some people, but it's not for me.
The formula is very thin and easy to apply. However, it does not blur my my very prominent ridges on my thumb nail. You can see the pictures: I have two coats of ridge filler and 2 coats of pickle plate. I can still see my ridges.
I’ve used ridge fillers from 2 other brands before and hated them. They both settled in the wrong places and took forever to dry. The cracked ridge filler couldn’t be more different. No lumps or obnoxious pooling, dries very fast, and easily fills in ridges and nail divots. I painted 2 thin coats and it gave all my nails a nice smooth base! Love the slight tint as well
It’s is the best base coat. I noticed a huge change in my nails and the health of them after using this as my primary base coat
It made the jelly polish on my very ridged fingers look smoother than usual
I am about a little less than halfway through my bottle and I am going back and forth with adding polish thinner to keep it easier to use. When it thickens up, it starts to get difficult for me to get it out of the bottle and onto my nails in a smooth coat. I do love the way it smooths everything over, though, and it dries fast. :)
I am borderline hyperthyroid and my nails show it. :( I have been very pleased with the Ridge Filler so far - the color is pretty on it's own, you could easily use it as a French manicure base. My ridges are quite pronounced on some nails so there's only so much any filler or topcoat combo can do, but I've been happy with this one. :) Would highly recommend. I might try doubling up on my problem nails in the future when I want to wear a light creme or neon again.
This does a good job filling ridges and staying neutral. It’s not great on its own like Neutralizer is, a little streaky in color for a standalone two coats.
I have a lot of ridges on my nails and 2 thin coats gave me a smooth canvas to paint over. It also dried quickly which was a plus! it is a bit streaky after 2 coats, but since I'll mostly be wearing it under other colours, I don't mind that too much
I don’t have super strong ridges but I liked how this went on and created a nice smooth base with just a blush of color. Self leveled great and dried quickly.
I’m so excited about this ridge filler! I’ve gravitated towards fun finishes because my nails have ridges and because I’m growing out damage and I’ve got all kinds of little dings and bumps. I haven’t felt comfortable wearing creams or jellies. But! Having full confidence in Cracked, I ordered this with several cream and jelly polishes and I am thrilled to report that this base does everything I need it to do to make sheer and smooth finishes work on my nails. I’m so pleased.

I love this ridge filler! It's a gorgeous, soft, very sheer nude-pink tone that gives you that nice, smooth base you're always wanting from a ridge-filler.

I have vertical ridges on all of my fingers and I always have. I also have flimsy nails, so I do not like to buff the daylights out of them to get rid of the ridges, so I have started using this. It helps the appearance of the nails a lot and I typically use 2 coats of it.

Great ridge filler! For me it needs some thinner about halfway through but not a problem at all! Love the big size and the color is great for a your nails but better look, too.
Very useful at making a smooth surface for nail polish. It's actually a very nice color on it's own!
I really enjoy using this base coat! It’s great under most nail polishes as it kind of neutralizes as well. I’d use something different for heavy glitter polishes.

I love this ridge filler! Not only does it give my nails a perfectly smooth surface for my manicure, but it also makes it last longer, prevents staining, slightly blurs the nail line, and honestly looks gorgeous on its own! Sometimes I run out of time to do my nails (because I take too long choosing and have to go to bed), but I always do a coat of ridge filler, and the next day I find myself admiring my nails all day because the subtle pink is so lovely! I cannot recommend this enough!
Use it under all my manis now. Has helped even things out, and prevents staining. I've almost grown out all the old yellow stains from before I purchased RF.
