Definitely matte and dried fast!
I've only tried one other matte top coat before and was not a fan, but this one looks stunning! Admittedly, there was some user error on my part the first time. I plopped it on over the polish and was miffed when it didn't dry for almost an hour and smudged. Then went back to the listing and saw it is supposed to go over a normal top coat after drying. Oops! dries quickly and super matte
I never had a matte topcoat before this, but I'm very impressed! It is a quick application and dries almost instantly.
I've used other matte top coats but this one is my favourite. it leaves a very silky and smooth feeling finish, and it looks SO good and frosty

I don’t like matte nails but sometimes I want one to use with flakies and I picked this up since I was in need for a new one. Just like everything Cracked, the formula and brush were both spot on.
This is my first time trying a matte top coat and I am so impressed with this formula! It is easy to apply (great brush), goes on smooth, and dries FAST! It looks amazing over flakies, and I love the smooth feel. I can't stop running my fingers over my nails! Pictured here over KBShimmer's "How Noble" after a few days of wear. Highly recommended if you're looking for that smooth matte finish!

i haven't used a matte coat in a while, so with a grain of salt: this applied very evenly for me, dried quickly, and left a smooth to the touch surface. it's on my mani list to play with more flakies with a matte top coat!

Perfect soft blur
I started to see my nail breaking at the bottom of the VNL so I tried using the matte top coat. It immediately felt stronger, meaning my nail didn't feel like it had a break and was smooth again. I applied 2 coats over a totally bare nail, and my nails looked super naturally cute, too. The matte finish is such a perfect "completely bare" look for the nails.

Way more soft than I expected so pretty magnetized
Works just as well or better than Essie's matte top coat which is more expensive. Dries quickly and the matte effect stays even though I try to oil my cuticles after every hand wash. Great product at a great value!
