Great formula that didn't dry down streaky like I was worried it would. Was opaque in two coats (if you're in a rush, one thicker coat!) The red shift isn't my absolute favorite but I still really love this polish. Felt very dark academia.
This is my first brown polish, and love how it looks! The formula is great, perfectly opaque in 2 coats, applied easily, and lasted long. I cant wait to wear it again.
Absolutely gorgeous! I fell in love with the swatches on the site and bought it, thinking it would look horrible against my skin, but I could give it to a friend with different coloration who'd be beautiful in it. I was very pleased and surprised that it looked nice! This is one of those you keep seeing more colors in the longer you look at it. Looked to have darker pink, bronze, brown, gold, and green, depending on the light and angle.
I am not great at manicures (which you will see in an instant if you check the attached photos), but this was barely a two-coater for me. Thise who are good or average at nail polish application can probably do it in one coat. Smooth and didn't peel when I accidentally stuck one of the thumb nails right on a glue trap at work (though I did have a bsse and top coat, too).
I’m so wowed by this shade! It’s not something I would usually go for, but it’s so rich and smooth. The name perfectly encompasses the shade.
This is one of my favorite finishes from Cracked. Please keep making them in every color. Lays down so smooth, no brushstrokes. Makes great skittle manis and elegant on its own. Slight shift from brown to gold at extreme angles. Leather Bound is on the middle finger in pics.
I did not think I would like this as much as I did. Even more than leather, it evokes vintage bronze hardware and the softened wood of an old spiral staircase. A whole vibe.
This polish personifies books, channeling the richness and elegance of leather! I layered it under a gold flake topper and it was the perfect combo to match one of my book covers.
A lovely metallic brown, i tried scorchy over it for some extra umph but on its own it's stunning.
This was my first Cracked polish, and it got me hooked. It's a beautiful shimmery bronze that subtly shifts into a deep reddish brown, like liquid mahogany. It just sings on an autumn skin tone.
Love this polish so much! It's shiny and the brown matches with the fallen leaves. Perfect for fall
Beautiful shifty bronze/brown. It has the perfect fall vibes! And looks cute even on super short nails like mine. And it makes my very nerdy heart happy, because it reminds me of bronze dragon scales.
It's a gorgeous brown, like a full bodied wine, it has a richness to it that makes you go omg every time you look at your fingers. It leans slightly red with a golden shimmer and has a beautiful olive green at extreme angles. Three thin coats were perfect.
This is a beautiful color. I enjoyed wearing it, it looks copper, bronze, brown in different lights.
This nail formula is the smoothest that I have ever put on.
I wore for almost 2 weeks, it wore well. I type a lot and it stayed on my fingertips. The only reason I changed was because I wanted something different for NYE.
I look forward to getting more colors. This was my first Cracked. Wish I had not waited so long.
My gosh this shade is gorgeous. LB is warm brown-yellow-green multichrome with orangey-red shimmer. The yellow-green comes out in only the more extreme angles. The formula borders borders on metallic, however I had no issues with it being brush-strokey. This is a 2-3 coater; I got away with two thick coats and careful application, though next time I'll prob do 3 thin coats.
Yes, this polish is basically a dupe for Mooncat's Dark Horse. HOWEVER, I actually prefer it over Mooncat's, because it's a tad lighter and therefore the color shifts show up better on me. (I'm pale, so darker colors look closer to black in contrast with my skin tone. Color theory!)
Overall, an amazing elevated neutral for my warm-toned skin. This is my first Cracked polish and I'm so pleased!
Absolutely stunning metallic polish. So sophisticated and gorgeous.
Love browns but I dont think this shiny finish is for me, its so lovely so I was pretty disappointed when I didnt love wearing it.
I will be the first to admit that I used to hate brown polishes, all of them. I didn’t get it. Most looked way too severe on me or were the wrong tone for my skin tone. This is such a good color and the multichrome in it is just right for a perfect fall look.
This brown has a hint of gold to make the polish look more dramatic.
What a gorgeous, rich, sophisticated color. So shimmery.
Fantastic brown/amber glowy color. Lives up to its name, and has a fireplace like quality!
I got this one as a gift without being sure what shades my coworker likes to wear and just thought this one would be neutral but special enough and it is stunning, and she LOVES it! I may have recruited another Cronie!
I do like certain aspects of this color. I like how rich the metallic mahogany is. However, Not a fan of the “green gold” on me. The formula is buttery smooth as always, though, so if green gold is your thing- you’d like leather bound.
I got this for my sister as a gift. She said it is a beautiful brown shimmer. She loves neutrals and really likes this one.
This will be the perfect fall shade. I’d wear it any time. It’s pretty and makes me think of the turning of the leaves.
I love wearing Leather Bound in the fall. It is a perfect Autumn color!
Such a smooth, pearly shade. It’s very moody and rich.
