In half the photos it is bright and cheery, and in the other half in cooler light/shade it was more pastel and cool looking. I love the brighter version/lighting shown, and am always on the hunt for that exact color. But on myself, it looks closer to the shadier/cooler version. I'm not mad at it, it is still pretty, but it didn't end my quest. The formula is fantastic, and now I see it layered with other sheer colors and need to add another one to my next order!

Lavender Jade is absolutely amazing. I have it on under pink strawberry puffs and the two together makes this perfect pinky/purple combo.
