I think this is a cream polish. At least, that’s why I purchased it. Formula is very thin and watery. Yes, I shook the bottle for 30 seconds. First coat was not opaque and it was streaky. The second coat shocked me. It was very streaky and and still somewhat sheer. I floated the 3rd coat and struggled to get it even. When done, I was relieved it evened out some when it dried.
