This color is purple on me in pretty much all lighting situations, except very low I guess it could read brown or dark grey. It's lovely, it's as close to grey/brown as a purple can be. One coat wonder as well.

My favorite neutral creme.
My favorite type of neutral-cool and complex. It shifts from brown to gray-ish to a dusky purple depending on what you’re wearing, your skin tone, and the lighting. An easy color to return to when I want something that’s palette cleansing, and yet still a little edgy.
Is it brown? Is it purple? Is it grey? Is it charcoal? The answer to all of those questions is yes. It shifts with the light, what you are wearing, and possibly your mood. It makes it both versatile, and kind of hard to work with. As always, very pigmented and great coverage.
Gills is such a nice moody color, it makes me feel ready for fall. Kind of in between brown, purple, and gray on me.

Unique color and good formula.
This is my first creme from Cracked and it's perfect! Super opaque but not a thick formula, easily a 1-2 coater. It can get patchy if you overwork it but that's common with most cremes. Color is a gorgeous in-between of brown, purple, and gray which is exactly what I was looking for.

Really happy with this polish the formula was smooth and easy to work with and it applied evenly without giving me much trouble the finish looked really nice and it had good coverage in just a couple coats overall I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it

Another excellent creme polish. Nearly opaque in one coat, and self-levels beautifully. Much darker than I expected, but it makes me love it even more!
Is it purple, brown, gray, or perhaps all of them?! It is impressive how much the shade of Gills depends on your skin tone, the lighting, or the other polishes/clothes you're wearing. Regardless, I am a fan. Two coats gave me nice coverage.
