…at least that’s what comes to my mind while wearing it. This is the most beautiful purple polish with a beautiful blue glow. Amazing combination. Such an ethereal color. The formula is perfection. This is only my second Cracked Polish, but I have an entire wishlist now - especially the greens - so many beautiful greens!
.. it should be this one. Theres nothing like a purple and blue shimmer polish and Cracked formulated the perfect one. There was a shawl that I had as kid that my mom made me because I fell in love with the material at a fabric store and I kid you not, this is the same color. This is the most perfect princess purple and if youre a Taylor Swift fan , the best “Speak Now” era shade I own!
Amethyst Dart Frog is my very first Cracked shade! It looks beautiful in the bottle, but it is absolutely stunning on the nail! It has such depth and an almost metallic-like finish in some lighting situations. I love these special polishes that give off many different vibes. Sometimes Amethyst Dart Frog is soft and airy with light pink sparkles and a glowy shimmer, and other times it takes on a deep purple-blue iciness! I built it up in three thin coats for opacity, but I’m excited to give it a go as a topper sometime too!
Beautiful color. Applied very easily. The brush is gloriously perfect and the stem isn’t too long. Both of those, but especially the brush makes it so easy to apply the polish. The cap is good, too. Just a tiny bit of texture, which makes it easier to grip to open the bottle and easier to hold while polishing.
Shipping has always been super fast with this brand. I get a shipping notice within hours and a USPS acceptance notice the day of or by the next day at the latest.
