Amethyst Dart Frog is such a pretty and shimmery shade. I love that you can use 1-2 coats for a sheer look or 3 coats for a more opaque finish. Absolutely in love with this polish!
Looks washed out and I’m not seeing a shift. It’s a plain sheer lavender on me. I needed 3 coats of it alone. I tried it as a topper and it was fine but I still needed 2 coats of it
So beautiful, the subtle shifts from purple to pink are amazing. I wasn’t sure about it at first because I thought I would like the original formulation better but this one is definitely a stunner!
I ordered the updated formula from the September sale and i love this color so much! It’s incredibly bright even in low light and the base pinky color mixes with the purple shimmer so well. I normally don’t gravitate toward purples but this one is like no other!!
Amethyst Dart Frog 2.0 shines over purples! I am wearing two coats of Amethyst Dart Frog 2.0 over three coats of Taro Milk Tea. Taro Milk Tea makes such a great base color. I love seeing the shifts of blue and purple shimmer dancing along the nails.
This one is a lot more sheer than I thought it would be, so it's personally not a huge favorite of mine, but it's so pretty when it's layered a bunch. I love how shimmery it is.
I love this! I got it mainly because it was a great price to throw in on the rest of my order, but it's such a lovely colour and I'm so happy I managed to get a bottle. I usually do three coats to get to an opacity I'm happy with. it also looks incredible with a matte top coat! I haven't tried it as a topper over other polishes but I may have to do that next time I wear it. it's on my index finger in the photos I included!
It's SO pretty! The sparkles and shifty shimmer are so pretty. I'm wearing in 2 coats to keep it sheer, which I love for spring/summer. It's a very fresh and delicate color.

Amethyst Dart Frog is my very first Cracked shade! It looks beautiful in the bottle, but it is absolutely stunning on the nail! It has such depth and an almost metallic-like finish in some lighting situations. I love these special polishes that give off many different vibes. Sometimes Amethyst Dart Frog is soft and airy with light pink sparkles and a glowy shimmer, and other times it takes on a deep purple-blue iciness! I built it up in three thin coats for opacity, but I’m excited to give it a go as a topper sometime too!
This is amethyst dart frog over black! When swatching, I noticed this gorgeous purple shade was packed with shimmer and wasn’t super opaque, so I had to try it as a topper. I’m so in love with how this came out- it’s super shiny and shifts from blue to purple! I can’t wait to try this one over more colors in the future
I’m not kidding when I say that this is the purple I’ve always wanted. It’s so shimmery and ethereal and sparkles the perfect shade of blue but also has a slight dusky vibe that’s so beautiful I love it so much.
I love this nail polish. I was sad that I didn't get to try the OG version and I have a weak spot for a light purple with purple and blue shimmers. I was excited that this polish was brought back for Chaos month. It is beautiful. The formula is very sheer. It does build up but it took 3-4 coats to get to near full full opacity.
Really fun, shifty polish. Looks really glowy and light in some lights and then dark and moody in others.

I love this polish so far! It's unexpectedly complex and has depth to it without being magnetic which is nice. I am looking forward to trying this layered with other jelly colors.
Wow, so pretty. An intense blue shimmer surrounded by a glowy amethyst color. So beautiful - and distracting, LOL - the way it catches the light! Soft and ethereal. It never quite reaches opacity, but it's not meant to. I have very visible nail line, so I use the blurring base coat first.
It's beautiful and fun to play with layering. I like how it looks over a deep denim blue.

It’s pretty but I’m very pale so it’s looks more grayish on me. I’ll still use it as topper
