beautiful turquoise, subtler than the pics

This polish is beautiful, but it doesn't quite match the description. It's not forest green at all, more like turquoise/aqua. Also, I used it for a pedicure and at that distance, the purple flakes don't show up at all, so it just looks like a shiny turquoise polish - cute, but not as special as I'd hoped. I think if I had it on my fingernails I'd be able to see the flakes so I will try that at some point, but I also think if the formula included more or bigger flakes, they would show more visibly no matter what. Still, I don't regret buying it. It's just more subtle than I expected.
