This polish is not only glittery and sparkly but also quite shifty! And those aqua flakies really pop against the vibrant magenta/purple! Magic in a bottle! I used three coats because it’s quite sheer and I like a bold opaque color. Next time I might use a solid base of a similar color so I don’t have to use so much from this bottle! I want it to last!
Pictures don't do this polish justice. It's beautiful! Aqua metallic flakes in a shifty, shimmery, sparkly sea. It's a beautiful glittery violet in direct light, and shifts through pink and gold to almost green at an angle. Just so pretty!
Very beautiful multichrome, a bit larger particle and needs three coats
At first I had a lot of trouble getting it to not be streaky using thin coats but once I got it man! This is one of the coolest polishes I’ve ever seen! I love how it’s got that green/gold/acidic look/flakies on the edges- idk how to explain it it’s just bad ass!
This was one of my first Cracked polishes and I was hooked! I loved the shifts and the green flakies blew me away!
I love this polish. I am not normally one for flakey glitter but the colors and how this looked in the light was killer!
It has a beautiful shift. During the day, at extreme angles you can see a green/yellow that shifts into a beautiful purple while at night it'll lean more blue/purple. There's tiny light blue glitter and flakies that add so much depth to it. It is sheer, so I needed three coats, but that makes me think it would work as a topper too. Show in the picture on my thumb, pointer and pinky. Infinite thrill is on my middle and ring fingers
I love purple and have a ton of purple polishes but the shift in this one makes it really stand out! The flakies and the shift really make it true to its name.
I am in LOVE! My friend got this for me for Christmas (I told her I wanted it) but it surpassed my expectations. I'm going to steal the description someone used when they saw it on me and say it looks like dusk. It's so beautiful and the shift feels natural and gradual. The formula was great and 2 thick coats was mostly enough. I did have to go in with a third thin coat on some nails where my application was a bit patchy. Definitely a must have for purple lovers!
I love this shade! It is insanely shifty and just beautiful! The sparse glitter takes it up a notch too! One of my favorite cracked colors in my collection.
I will generally pick a nice shimmer over a multichrome but I was intrigued by this one. I love the tiny flakes I think it adds something to the typical multichrome formula as a little extra sparkle or something. Really nice formula too as always with cracked.
It’s a beautiful collection with quality formulas and great colors for nail art. Nuclear Coolant and Cornea Killer are stand outs for me.
Pros:
- Pretty purple! I like the little sky-blue flakies, too.
- Good formula! No issues.
Cons:
- Needs 3 coats to build to full opacity - and looks funny in less.
- I can see a little bit of that shift to to other colors at extreme angles and in certain lighting, but I was disappointed in how much it's mostly just purple. In the swatcher photos, Acidic Tears looks like it's practically a multichrome, it looks so shifty.
So beautiful and applies nicely. Love the scattered flakes. This color really pops in the sun. Looks so good!!!

This polish is beautiful. Sparkly, visually interesting - but not too over the top. Love it by itself, but it also always finds a place in my purple-blue-pink skittles.
Cracked makes gorgeous purples, and Acidic Tears is no exception. Excellent formula and coverage, like always

Absolutely beautiful purple. I would add and take this from my cart every time I did an order. I finally grabbed it. Glad I did because it’s a beauty. The flakes are my favorite and it applies super smoothly.
